In memory of Haley Justine Sears

She is our angel watching over us from up above.

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. So one day he

asked God:

They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow but how am I going to

live there being so small and helpless?

Among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for

You and will take care of you.

But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and

smile, that's enough for me to be happy.

Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And

you will feel your angel's love and be happy.

And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, if

I don't know the language that men talk?

Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will

ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you

how to speak.

And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?

Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to

pray.

I've heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?

Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.

But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.

Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way

for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you.

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth

could already be heard, and the child in a hurry asked softly:

Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name

Your angel's name is of no importance, you will call your angel:

I'm Spending Christmas With Jesus Christ This Year!

I see the countless Christmas trees

Around the world below

With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars

reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular

Please wipe away a tear

For I 'm spending Christmas

With Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs

That people hold so dear

But the sounds of music can't compare

With the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no words to tell you

The joy their voices bring

For it is beyond description

To hear an angel sing.

I know how much you miss me

For I feel your breaking heart...

But through our memories so dear

We're never far apart.

I can't tell you of the Splendor

Or the peace here in this place.

Can you just imagine Christmas

With our Savior face to face?

I'll ask him to light your spirit

As I tell him of your love.

So then pray for one another

As you lift your eyes above.

So please let your hearts be joyful

And let your spirit sing.

For I'm spending Christmas in Heaven

And I'm walking with the King.

Sleeping Angel

In your bed at night

I watch you sleep in peace

And think how you

Have changed my life

For all eternity

You've given to me

As much as I have tried

Tirelessly to impart to you

A never ending spring

Of love, hope, patience and fun

Shared by two

You've come to me

In the fall of my years

Yet transported me to springtime

With your tiny fears

Making me remember

How simple life can be

To a winged little angel of three

Suddenly I am the focus

Of your needs and desires

To the task and never tire

"When I Must Leave You"

When I must leave you for a little while

Please do not grieve and shed wild tears

And hug your sorrow to you through the years

But start out bravely with a gallant smile:

And for my sake and in my name live on

And do all the things the same

Feed not your loneliness on empty days,

But fill each waking hour in useful ways,

Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,

And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near:

And never, never be afraid to die,

God's Little Girl

Mommy,

Please don't be so sad,

I miss you so much too.

It's beautiful here where I am

But I worry a lot about you.

I sleep with the angels watching over me

There's only love up here...

I'm never lonely or afraid,

'Cause God's so very near.

I walk with Jesus every day

He's very kind and sweet.

Don't worry Mommy: He holds my hand

When we cross a golden street.

I never cry or hurt myself

I see my Great Grandma everyday.....

I play and laugh and sing a lot

And I hear you when you pray.

Please Mommy, don't be mad at God

You see, he loves me too.

And even though you're not here with me,

I'm really still with you.

I'm an Angel Now

 One night I cried to Jesus as I sat beneath the trees.

I looked into the open sky and hoped He'd answer me.

I'm lost dear Lord. I've traveled far but still I seam to roam.

Please light the way and lead me, Lord. I need to get back home.

I told him of my burdens and of the sadness in my heart-

That from His gracious love I'd never felt so far apart.

Why did you take my child, Lord? I cannot understand!

No longer can I touch her face or hold her tiny hand.

I'm angry, Lord. I'm missing her. I'm drowning in my sorrow.

Please help to heal my yesterday's and face each new tomorrow.

It was then I heard her gentle voice and I felt her presence near.

How I wanted so to hold her as I cried another tear.

She said, "Mommy, "I 'm an angel now, my spirit will be free.

I'm an angel now in heaven, so please don't cry for me.

I was chosen by our Lord above and now I'm in his care.

When you need me, look inside your heart. I promise to be there.

No one can ever take away our bond with one another

For I'll always be your precious child, as you will be my mother.

So if you cannot find your way or the road to home seems so far,

Just look up into the Heavens and I'll be you guiding star."

She said, "Mommy, I'm an angel now, my spirit will be free.

I'm an angel now in Heaven, no need to cry for me."

Gentle Savior, please look down...

There's someone at Your side.

A small bewildered little girl

Who needs you as her guide.

You know her name is Haley

If her smile could melt a heart of stone.

She's without her mom, dad and sister, too

So please lead her safely home.

Keep her in Your tender care

And Your strong and warm embrace.

Please guide her to her heavenly home

With a smile upon her face.

You put a dimple on her chin

And gave her hair so heavenly blonde.

Dear Lord, look after our little girl;

Guide her safely through each night.

Thank You, God, for the time we had

And all the memories we made

We'll keep Haley forever in our hearts

And remember the love she gave.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God

Was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone;

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

Your love is still our guide;

And though we can not see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same;

But as God calls us one by one,

THE CHAIN will link again.

Let Me Go

 We've known lots of pleasure,

At times endured pain,

We've lived in the sunshine

And walked in the rain.

But now we're separated

And for a time apart,

But I am not alone-

You're forever in my heart.

Death always seems so sudden,

And it is always sure,

But what is often forgotten -

It is not without a cure.

I'm walking now with someone ,

And I know He'll always stay,

I know He's walking with you too,

Giving comfort everyday.

There may be times you miss me,

I sort of hope you do,

But smile when you think of me,

For I'll be waiting for you.

Now there's are many things for you to do,

And lots of ways to grow,

So get busy, be happy, and live your life,

Miss me, but let me go.

 If roses grow in Heaven,

Lord please pick a bunch for me,

Place them in my daughter's arms

And tell her they are from me.

Tell her I love her and I miss her,

And when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek.

And hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it every day.

But there's an ache in my heart

That will never go away.

To My Dearest Family

Some things I'd like to say

But first of all to let you know

That I arrived okay

I'm writing this from Heaven

Where I dwell with God above

Where there's no more tears

Or sadness there

Is just eternal love

Please do not be unhappy

Just because I'm out of site

Remember that I'm with you

Every morning, noon and night

That day I had to leave

When my life on Earth was through

God picked me up and hugged me

And He said I welcome you

It's good to have you back again

You were missed while you were gone

As for your dearest family

They'll be here later on

I need you here so badly

As part of My big plan

There's so much that we have to do

To help our mortal man

Then God gave me a list of things

He wished for me to do

And foremost on that list of mine

Is to watch and care for you

And I will be beside you

Every day and week and year

And when you're sad

I'm standing there

To wipe away the tear

And when you lie in bed at night

The days chores put to flight

God and I are closest to you

In the middle of the night

When you think of my life on earth

And all those loving years

Because you're only human

They are bound to bring you tears

But do not be afraid to cry

It does relieve the pain

Remember there would be no flowers

Unless there was some rain

I wish that I could tell you

Of all that God has planned

But if I were to tell you

You wouldn't understand

But one thing for certain

Though my life on Earth is o're

I am closer to you now

Than I ever was before

And to my very many friends

Trust God knows what is best

I'm still not far away from you

I'm just beyond the crest

There are rocky roads ahead of you

And many hills to climb

But together we can do it

Taking one day at a time

It was always my philosophy

And I'd like it to be for you too

That as you give unto the World

So the world will give to you

If you can help somebody

Who is in sorrow or in pain

Then you can say to God at night

My day was not in vain

And now I am contented

That my life it was worthwhile

Knowing as I passed along the way

I made somebody smile today

So if you meet somebody

Who is down and feeling low

Just lend a hand to pick him up

As on your way you go

When you are walking

Down the street

And you've got me on your mind

I'm walking in your footsteps

Only half a step behind

And when you feel the gentle breeze

Or the wind upon your face

That's me giving you a great big hug

Or just a soft embrace

And when it's time for you to go

From that body to be free

Remember you're not going

You are coming here to me

And I will always love you

From that land way up above

We'll be in touch again soon.

You've Gone Ahead

My child I always thought that I,

Would show you the way,

Teach you your colors, about life,

How to pray.

I would lead you along, hold your hand.

Expound the mysteries of life and death.

But now, You leave me behind.

Your hand no longer nestles mine.

No need for em to light your way.

You've gone ahead.

Who will wipe your nose now?

I know no need for that where you are.

Do you need a mother now?

I need to be your mother,
